Disbursing your first payment in CashCloud is a big milestone. Here's how to get there.

  1. Set Up Your Payor:

    • Before you can disburse payments, ensure that you have created a payor in CashCloud.

  2. Add a Bank and Bank Account:

    • You must have a bank and a linked bank account set up to facilitate payments. For detailed instructions

  3. Create workflows for approvals, signings, and disbursements.

  4. Create a Batch and Payment :

    • Navigate to Payments > Batches.

    • Click Create New Batch.

    • Select the associated payor, bank account, and payment type (e.g., ACH, check).

    • Enter the total payment amount and the payment date.

    • Add payees to the batch by selecting them from your existing payee list or by importing a list of payees.

    Write a caption

  5. Review and Approve the Batch:

    • Once the payment batch is created, review all details to ensure accuracy.

    • If everything is correct, click Submit for Approval.

    • Depending on your workflow, the batch may require approval from another user. Once approved, the batch will be ready for disbursement.

  6. Disburse the Payment:

    • After the batch is approved, navigate back to the Batches screen.

    • Find your batch and click Disburse.

    • Confirm the disbursement details and click Confirm to initiate the payment process.

  7. Track Payment Status:

    • You can monitor the status of your disbursements under Payments > Disbursements.

    • This section will show whether payments have been successfully sent, are pending, or have failed.

By following these steps, you’ll successfully disburse your first payment using CashCloud, ensuring that your payees receive their funds promptly.
