Customize what actions prompt notifications, as well as the type of notifications you receive

CashCloud allows you to customize what actions prompt notifications, as well as the type of notifications you receive. You also have the option to view your entire notification history.

Notification Method

At the top of the Notifications page, you can select if you want to receive notifications directly to your email account, through alerts within the CashCloud app, or both.

Note: Your choice will apply to all active CashCloud notifications.

Choosing Your Notification Preferences

CashCloud allows you to select which actions prompt a notification. You can opt-in to notifications for the following categories:

  • Bank Account - Notify when a user creates, updates, or deletes a bank account

  • Bank - Notify when a user creates, updates, or deletes a bank

  • Payee - Notify when a user creates, updates, or deletes a payee and when a payee has completed the onboarding flow

  • Data Group - Notify when a user creates, updates, or deletes a data group

  • Manual Import - Notify when a user performs a manual data import

  • Batch - Notify when a user creates or deletes a batch

  • Transactions Notifications - Notify when a user creates, updates or deletes bank accounts

  • Role Permissions - Notify when a user creates, updates, or deletes role permissions

  • Template Notifications - Notify when a user creates, updates or deletes bank accounts

  • Approvals & Signatures Workflows - Notify when a user creates, updates, or deletes workflow approvals or signatures

  • Output - Notify when a user updates printer configurations for documents

  • Reprint - Notify when a user reprints a check

To edit your notification preferences for any of the above categories, toggle the slider to enable or disable notifications. If the slider is gray, notifications are disabled. If it is purple, notifications are enabled.

Assign Users to Notifications

CashCloud allows you to specify internal users and external contacts to receive each notification type. This allows you to notify teams, individuals, and clients of the actions taken that are relevant to their work.

To get started, click one of the notification types. Then, just enter the emails of your desired recipients. Up to ten users can be added to each notification type.

To send a notification to an external contact not on your company plan, input the contact’s email in the text fields. Then, select the Add button at the bottom of the module.

The added recipient will appear underneath the Send external notifications to label.

To remove a notification recipient, simply click the X next to their name.

Viewing Notification History

To view your notification history, click the clock icon at the top of the Company Notifications page.

You will be redirected to a table that tracks all notifications sent in your CashCloud account. The notification type, message, date & time of creation, and related action are all recorded and can be accessed at any time.
