Flat files are a simple format for data files that contain records without structured relationships between them. CashCloud supports integrating data from flat files to streamline data management and import processes.
Connect a Flat File
Create a new Data Group:
Go to the Settings menu.
Select Data Groups
Create a new Data Group by filling in the required information, or open an existing one.
Select Flat File:
Once created, click on New Integration and select Flat File.
Configure File Settings:
Select Column Separator: Choose the appropriate separator (e.g., comma, tilde).
Data Location Information:
Remote Server: Enter SFTP server details, including file address, site address, port, username, and password.
Custom File Settings (Optional):
File Structure: Specify if the file contains headers and details.
Relationship Between Header and Details: Choose between continuous rows or column-related structures.
Data Location Information: Provide SFTP server details if applicable.
Test and Create Data Source:
Click Test Connection to ensure the file is correctly configured.
Click Create Data Source to finalize the integration.
